Over 29,000 PS3s on E-Bay

After a quick count on Ebay of PS3 units sold and still up for sale, we've discovered that a whopping 29,000 units are up for sale on the US version of Ebay.

After whipping out a calculator to work it out, we've discovered that this is around-about a massive ten - that's 10% of the launch quantity of the console.

This is undoubtedly a huge blow for everybody who bought a PS3 hoping for profit - many expected PS3s to be selling for 2000 dollars or more, and thanks to the market saturation they are now selling for as little as $1500. This price could drop even further over the next few days.

We're waiting for official figures on game attachment ratio, which will majorly effect Sony's cash revenues from the launch. We'll bring you more details as we get them.
