Granblue Fantasy: Relink adds New Quests alongside Seofon and Tweyen in Version 1.2; Overlay Map and Photo Mode in Version 1.3

Cygames has detailed what players can expect in the upcoming Version 1.2 patch coming to Granblue Fantasy: Relink  which was previously reported to arrive on April 26. At the time, we only knew that two new playable characters would be coming - Seofon (named Siete in Japan) and Tweyen (named Song in Japan).

Since then, Cygames has released their Granblue Showcase: Relink Part 3 stream program and detailed all the content that will be arriving in Version 1.2, alongside a handful of new information on what Version 1.3 has in store for the action RPG.

Unlocking Seofon and Tweyen as playable characters will not be done like all the other characters in the base game. Instead, Cygames is adding a new resource, Supreme Weapon Essences, that must be traded in for Special Crewmate Cards for the two characters. In order to acquire Supreme Weapon Essences, players must farm another new resource, Revenant Medallions, from two new quests introduced in the Version 1.2 update.

The Fate Episodes of Seofon and Tweyen continue the main story of Granblue Fantasy: Relink.

A huge quality-of-life feature introduced in Version 1.2 is the ability to transmute up to 30 sigils at once, so the visits to Siero's Knickknack Shack are less frequent and less... painful.

Numerous characters throughout the entire roster of Granblue Fantasy: Relink have been buffed in Version 1.2; Cygames has detailed all of that information in the patch notes pages on the official site.

Some details on Version 1.3 has been shared; it was previously announced that Sandalphon would officially join the roster as a playable character - though he will not be recruited the same way as Seofon and Tweyen.

Those who loved collecting Wee Pincers in Relink can now collect them forever after they've completed all the pincer-related quests in the base game. Once those are done, they will randomly start appearing around Folca.

Narmaya players receive a handy quality-of-life feature in Version 1.3 with a clear easy-to-read butterfly indicator that gives a numerical value of how many butterflies are out now. Other Version 1.3 features will include new Proud-difficulty quests, new sigils, and new side quests. At long last, Version 1.3 adds an overlay map and Photo Mode to the game!

A Sigil Synthesis system is coming as well, which will allow players to combine sigils to customize traits.
