New World: Aeternum arrives on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 15 with major overhauls, new zone, large-scale PvP, and more
Amazon Games has announced a content expansion and overhaul to their New World MMO with New World: Aeternum. It will launch on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on October 15. For console players, this includes all the previous content from New World's base game and Rise of the Angry Earth Expansion, so new players on both consoles will share the same world and servers as existing New World players. New World: Aeternum supports cross-play across all platforms.
With New World: Aeternum, it adds the new supernatural island of Aeternum seamlessly into the world of New World. People can choose to tackle this new area via solo or co-op. The upcoming content to New World was designed with consoles in mind, so features such as target locking, aim assist, virtual cursor, and controller navigation is fully integrated into it.
Plus, Amazon Games is including New World's first-ever large-scale PvP zone in New World: Aeternum. There will also be "a challenging 10-player raid, end-game solo trials, an upgraded leveling experience, new character archetypes, a revamped dialogue system, and much more."
New World: Aeternum will have a standard edition priced at $59.99 USD and a deluxe edition priced at $79.99 USD. Existing players that have purchased both the New World base game and Rise of the Angry Earth expansion can access New World: Aeternum at no extra cost.

Console players who pre-order on the PlayStation and Xbox storefronts, and all PC players who log in to New World now through Oct. 14, 2024, will receive the Azoth Stalker wolf mount.
