Towerborne is available now on Xbox Game Preview

Xbox Game Studios and Stoic have launched the action RPG Towerborne on Xbox Game Preview for Xbox Series X|S, the Xbox App on Windows, and Game Pass.

Since debuting on early access for PC, Stoic has overhauled Towerborne with new updates including a big one arriving today alongside the Xbox Series console version and crossplay. You can grab Towerborne for Xbox here. As revealed before, it will be available on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, Xbox Game Pass for Console, and PC Game Pass. Today, Stoic and Xbox are excited to share that Towerborne is now available on Xbox Game Preview for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox app on Windows PC, Xbox Cloud, and Game Pass. From the creators of The Banner Saga trilogy, Towerborne combines the thrill of classic side-scrolling beat'em-ups with deeply satisfying loot progression players love from ARPGs.
Since launching in Early Access on Steam last September, Stoic has actively incorporated player feedback, leading to a complete overhaul of the game giving it a brand-new feel. With a fully overhauled Class Mastery system, smoother combat and nearly 50+ new missions to explore, the Towerborne adventure is about to get a whole lot deadlier.
Updates include:

All-New Class Mastery Update: A fully overhauled Class Mastery progression system lets players earn and swap Skill Points freely across myriad Class Skills to make every Ace unique, while combat has been rebalanced to feel smoother and more dynamic.

Seamless Cross-Platform Play & Progression: Play across Xbox, PC (via Xbox and Steam), and Game Pass, with shared progression across all platforms.

Xbox Play Anywhere: Towerborne is an Xbox Play Anywhere title, supporting cross-play and cross-progression across platforms (including Steam), and supports up to 4-player couch co-op on Xbox.

Couch Co-op & Friend Finder: Enjoy 4-player couch co-op on Xbox and improved social features like Group Finder and player interactions for a more connected experience.

Expanded World & Quests: A reimagined World Map, refined questlines, and 50+ new handcrafted missions enhance exploration and progression.

Survival System Overhaul: The new Mender’s Flask health consumables allow mid-fight healing, revives, and Class Skill buffs, but once you’re out, you’ll need a teammate to bring you back.

The Perfect Handheld Game: Players can even take Towerborne on the go with their preferred handheld PC or Steam Deck.
