Square Enix shares new screenshots for Kingdom Hearts IV
Following the cancellation of Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link, Square Enix has provided a small update on Kingdom Hearts IV in the form of a screenshot collage posted to social media.
Kingdom Hearts IV was originally announced in April 2022 — alongside Missing-Link, as it turns out — but there hadn't been any substantial update on the game in the three years since.
The new screenshot collage shared today shows the familiar location revealed in the game's announcement trailer - a modern realistic city swarming with Darkside-like and other heartless. We also see an image of Strelitzia (from Kingdom Hearts Union χ) and what looks to be playable Mickey in a library.
We've shared the social media posts below, alongside a message from the Kingdom Hearts development team.
