Capcom just announced that the Monster Hunter Wilds x Street Fighter 6 special collaboration event will begin on May 28 with the release of free layered armor, paid collaboration DLC, and more.

The special collaboration in Monster Hunter Wilds has been detailed in a new trailer that confirms the release of free Akuma hunter layered armor featuring special actions, a Blanka-chan Palico layered armor, and the paid collaboration cosmetic DLC (Update: Edited to reflect that it will not be sold as a bundle) that also features a new costume for Alma. Pricing hasn't been revealed yet for the paid content. The Monster Hunter Wilds 1.011 update on May 28 will add support for all the new content in this collaboration.

A special collaboration with Capcom's own fighting franchise Street Fighter 6 is now underway!
Akuma—a demon of combat that has welcomed the Satsui no Hado into his being in his quest to become the ultimate master of the fist—makes his appearance in Monster Hunter Wilds!
This collab has a host of fun new features that are sure to get you into the fighting spirit!

Special collaboration-exclusive rewards have been added!
Check out the exclusive special collab side mission to experience Akuma in action!
Claim special collab rewards by completing the new side mission Ultimate Strength, featuring Akuma! Complete the accompanying collab arena quests Demonic Strength and True Strength for additional rewards.
– The side mission Ultimate Strength is available for hunters at HR 21 or higher. Talk to Quinn, the Vespae Unit handler, at the Oilwell Basin Base Camp to start the mission.
– "Akuma" hunter full armor set and layered equipment
– "Blanka-Chan" Palico full armor set and layered equipment
– Hunter Profile background, nameplate, and pose
Note: After its addition as a free update this collaboration will be a permanent addition to the game.

You can unleash your inner demon by equipping the "Akuma" full armor set or full layered armor set. Equipping either set allows you to use Akuma's unique item and gestures to perform his fighting moves!
Unleash your inner Akuma!
Experience the thrill of Street Fighter with the recreation of the Drive Impact, a system exclusive to Street Fighter 6, and more.
You can select Akuma's actions from the Item Bar.
Use the "Assisted Combo: Akuma" item command to branch out into various combo attacks and unleash special moves like Gou Hadoken and Gou Shoryuken.
– The attack power of Akuma's unique actions is determined by the main weapon you have equipped.
– Equipping the full armor set boosts attack power considerably compared to using the full layered armor set, and Assisted Combos and other actions will gain stun properties while the Drive Impact action will gain an offset effect.
Paid DLC
Paid DLC will also be available from Wed 28 May 2025 to further enhance the collaboration experience!
– To enjoy the special Street Fighter 6 collaboration, you will need to update to the latest Version 1.011.00.00, which will be released on the same day.
