Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader Lex Imperialis expansion launches June 24, Season Pass 2 announced

In addition to announcing Warhammer 40,000: Dark Heresy, Owlcat Games also announced the release date for the Lex Imperialis expansion for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader as June 24 and confirmed that Season Pass 2 is in development.

Lex Imperialis, the second expansion for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, releases in just over a month for PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC platforms and is part of Season Pass 1. Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader will also be getting Season Pass 2 which is already available to purchase for $29.99 with its two major expansions coming later, but some in-game content is available now alongside a game patch.

Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). The Lex Imperialis expansion will launch on June 24. We reviewed Rogue Trader last year, where Bryan called it his "favorite title so far from Owlcat Games".

Launching June 24, 2025, Lex Imperialis is the second major expansion for Warhammer 40,00: Rogue Trader. Thrusting players into the iron grip of Imperial Law, this DLC features a new 15-hour storyline that introduces the Adeptus Arbites, a faction of incorruptible enforcers, and a new companion—the grim and relentless Solomorne Anthar. With battle Familiars like cybernetic eagles and cyber-mastiffs, this DLC deeply enriches the gameplay and narrative layers of Rogue Trader.
New Stories Come to Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader with Season Pass 2
Also announced is Season Pass 2 for Warhammer 40,000: Rogue Trader, bundling two new expansions and an appearance customization pack. The third major addition to the game will allow players to enter a Necron vault curated by the iconic Trazyn the Infinite, challenge ancient guardians, and uncover relics tied to the Von Valancius legacy. The fourth one will let them explore the Processional of the Damned — a surreal voidship graveyard, in a descent into madness and mystery. Each DLC will feature a new companion character, new quests deeply integrated into the main storyline, new mechanics, and deliver around 15 hours of gameplay.
Players who pre-purchase the new Season Pass will receive an exclusive Appearance Pack. This includes new hairstyles and augmenting implants that become instantly available for customizing their Lord Captain.
