Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement releases for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC worldwide in 2026
505 Games has revealed Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement at the June 2025 State of Play. Shortly after the program ended, the company updated the official Bloodstained website with the new game, revealing that it will be available worldwide in 2026 on not only PlayStation 5 but also Xbox Series X|S and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
Koji "IGA" Igarashi is making his return after the successful release of Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night. This new game will have a new storyline taking place in 16th-century England in the same Bloodstained universe. The player will get to play as both of the two main characters—Leonard Brandon and Alexander Kyteler—by frequently switching the controlled character.
505 Games has also published standalone trailers for Bloodstained: The Scarlet Engagement featuring the English and Japanese voiceovers, and you can find both versions right below. The game will also support additional subtitles in French, Italian, German, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, Latin American Spanish, Korean, and Chinese (Traditional and Simplified).
