Square Enix shares launch trailer and letter from Revo for Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster

Square Enix has shared the launch trailer and a letter from composer Revo for Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster, which is available now worldwide on Nintendo Switch 2.

Bravely Default Flying Fairy HD Remaster was announced in April, and it is now available worldwide digitally and physically as a Game Key Card. To celebrate today's launch, Square Enix has released the launch trailer and also shared a letter from Revo, the game's composer. James recently went hands-on with the remaster, and you can read his impressions here.

To all you BRAVELY fans, have you been well? And to all of you first-time visitors to Luxendarc, welcome! This is Revo, your music captain speaking!

Hooray and huzzah for the HD Remaster! At last, this masterpiece is resurrected in the current era.

There are those whom I may be known as a one-hit-anime-theme-song-wonder, but Nay! I say---call me that after you've played BRAVELY DEFAULT.

Having given all the music a relisten this time, "Holy smokes, this is some brilliant stuff. Was the composer divinely inspired?" ...And another such drivel is meaningless from me. It's the gorgeous, fanciful graphics, the surprise-packed story, and the unfettered fun of character-driven gameplay all taken together to which the musical accompaniment adds but a colorful bit of garnish.

As for the remastered aspects, I really don't know anything other than the new rhythm game, so I am really, really looking forward to getting to play the rest. I wonder how the restoration of Norende is coming along. Is Master still gaining nothing but a magic bruising when he Nothing Ventures? Are my beloved keystones still popping dragons? Is my dear friend Friend-Bot in good health?
