Black Myth: Wukong launches on August 20 for Xbox Series X|S, first-ever digital discount announced

Game Science has announced that Black Myth: Wukong will finally launch for Xbox Series X|S on August 20. The game's first ever digital discount is also planned for later this month on PlayStation 5 and Steam.

Black Myth: Wukong, our winner for Best Art in 2024, launched last August for PlayStation 5 and PC platforms. In Junior's review, he described the game as "The most beautiful cutscenes and gorgeous environments, surrounded by a plague of frustrating design choices and performance issues." Since launch, Black Myth: Wukong has also seen a PS5 Pro patch. It will now come to both Xbox Series X and Xbox Series X on August 20, 2025. This was posted on the game's social account confirming the first-ever digital discount as well. 

The game will be 20% off for all platforms with the PlayStation sale beginning on June 18 and the Steam sale from June 20. Pre-orders for Black Myth: Wukong on Xbox Series X|S also go live on June 18.
