Mortal Shell II announced for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC; set to release in 2026

During the Summer Game Fest Live Showcase 2025, publisher Playstack and developer Cold Symmetry announced Mortal Shell II, a 'standalone sequel' to the 2020 soulslike action RPG. It is set to release in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam).

We reviewed the original Mortal Shell at its launch, saying that it "takes [the soulslike] formula, sharpens it and adds enough to make it a completely different feeling."
