Sega and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio officially reveal Stranger Than Heaven during Summer Game Fest 2025

During The Game Awards 2024, Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio and Sega showcased a new project tentatively titled Project Century. It has now been fully revealed as Stranger Than Heaven with a brand-new trailer during Summer Game Fest 2025.

Stranger Than Heaven doesn't have platforms or a release window yet, but today's new reveal features gameplay with some UI elements. Sega has uploaded both the original teaser from The Game Awards 2024 and today's new Summer Game Fest 2025 Stranger Than Heaven reveal trailer. Today, SEGA of America unveiled the official title for the highly anticipated new project from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio. Confirmed during the Summer Game Fest 2025 live showcase, the new IP formerly known as “Project Century” will be called Stranger Than Heaven.

In addition, a brand-new teaser trailer offering another glimpse into the game’s world has also been released. 

Originally revealed at The Game Awards 2024 Stranger Than Heaven is a brand-new title from Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio, the developers behind the acclaimed Yakuza™, Like a Dragon™ and Virtua Fighter™ series.
