Funcom shares Dune: Awakening launch trailer for the early unlock of the Deluxe and Ultimate Edition

During Summer Game Fest 2025, Funcom shared the launch trailer for its open-world multiplayer survival game Dune: Awakening which is now available on PC Steam for Deluxe and Ultimate Edition owners.

In addition to the launch trailer, Funcom has released the full Dune: Awakening soundtrack on streaming services. This soundtrack also includes bonus tracks from the game's trailers. You can find it here. If you missed the global launch timings, check it out here.

Dune: Awakening, the open world, multiplayer survival game on a massive scale, is now available to all players with the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition. The full launch arrives on June 10, and the game can be pre-loaded now on Steam, regardless of edition. Anyone who pre-purchases the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition before June 10 can start playing right away.

Developed by Funcom and inspired by Frank Herbert’s sci-fi masterpiece and Denis Villeneuve and Legendary Entertainment’s award-winning films, Dune: Awakening introduces a parallel Dune timeline where Paul Atreides was never born. Witness the world of Dune come to life unlike ever before in the Launch Trailer, premiered today at Summer Game Fest. 

Funcom is also excited to announce that today, the full Dune: Awakening soundtrack is now available here, including Spotify, Apple, and Amazon, with two bonus tracks from the Story Trailer and the Launch Trailer. Distributed in collaboration with Milan Records, an imprint of Sony Masterworks, the OST is composed by award-winning composer Knut Avenstroup Haugen and was recorded in the legendary AIR Lyndhurst studio in London.

Dune: Awakening follows a classic DLC business model, with no in-game store or subscription. Post-launch content will arrive in the form of complete DLCs and free content updates.
