Persona 4 Revival announced as remake of Persona 4 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC

During the Xbox showcase, Atlus and Sega revealed Persona 4 Revival, a remake of Persona 4 for release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam and Xbox PC).

Persona 4 Revival got a short trailer during the Xbox Games Showcase 2025 revealing platforms and a bit of gameplay. While the trailer below only mentions Xbox and PC platforms, it was listed for PS5 in the showcase. A release window or year were not mentioned, but it will be available day one on Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.

At the Xbox Games Showcase 2025, ATLUS announced Persona 4 Revival, an upcoming reimagining of the classic RPG Persona 4 that was first released in 2008. Persona 4 Revival is coming to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox PC and will be available on day one with Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, PC Game Pass, is part of Xbox Play Anywhere, and will be available to wishlist later today. The game is also coming to PlayStation 5 and Steam and wishlist on these platforms will be available at a later time.

A remake of the modern classic RPG, Persona 4 Revival received a debut trailer at the Xbox Games Showcase 2025, showing off the game's gorgeous updated visuals within the rural town of Inaba. Arriving as a transfer student, you'll experience an unforgettable year with new friends you meet along the way. However, rumors of bizarre murders and a mysterious TV channel quickly disrupt your peaceful everyday life. A door to another world opens, awakening your Persona abilities: it is time to fight alongside your trusted allies to uncover the truth.

Persona 4 has spawned numerous spin-off works, including TV anime, Persona 4 Arena, Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, and Persona 4: Dancing All Night, and is a special title that has been a part of Atlus for many years and holds a personal place in my heart. We are currently working on this project with all our passion and love. We are confident that this will be a fresh and surprising product for both newcomers and long-time fans and we look forward to sharing it with you all.
