Node Nexus is coming to PC via Steam with free demo available now
Japanese indie circle SurFun has released a free demo version of Node Nexus on PC via Steam. This demo lets players check out the title's gameplay system, which offers fantasy RPG-styled battles uniquely visualized like a data flow diagram, with both allied party members and enemy monsters appearing as data or module blocks.
The demo will task you to defeat the Demon King in 30 minutes, although the time can be paused so that you can organize things. The general objective here is to equip items to your party members and have them attack the enemy monsters by connecting nodes. Defeating enemies will net gold that can be used to purchase new items, characters, and also enemies. However, you also need to make sure your characters don't die often, as there is a finite number of lives given, which will also be factored into the final score.
You can also view the screenshots and descriptions for Node Nexus right below. This indie game will be available in Japanese, English, and Simplified Chinese. A full release window for this title has still yet to be announced.
