Edens Zero RPG will have crossover content from Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest
Konami has revealed that their upcoming Edens Zero console RPG will have crossover content from Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest. Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia (along with the mascot Happy) will make their appearances here and interact with Shiki and Rebecca's team in the optional questline featuring franchises both made by Hiro Mashima.
The crossover story will be included in-game. But to access it, you will first have to finish Chapter 7 (Digitalis Arc) in the main story and reach Adventurer Rank C in the Exploration Mode. Only after that can you start accessing the questline from the Shooting Starlight Guild.
This new story will also feature a couple of original characters newly designed by Hiro Mashima. One of the guild's Adventurers, Maruha, will commission Rebecca's crew to investigate the incident at the core of the story. There will also be a new villain named Submerse, who appears to have Natsu under his control.
The Japanese press release notes that clearing these crossover quests will unlock equipment themed after Natsu and Lucy. It is thus still yet to be confirmed whether the Fairy Tail characters themselves will actually be available as party members or not.
While Konami has formally published the crossover content trailer on their Japanese YouTube channel, they also prepared another version with English subtitles, which you can find after the screenshots right below. The Edens Zero console RPG will be available worldwide for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on July 15.
