Xbox details gamescom 2025 plans including The Outer Worlds 2 theater presentation and new playable demos

Xbox just announced its plans for gamescom 2025 with many third-party game demos and a theater presentation for The Outer Worlds 2 which launches on October 29.

The Outer Worlds 2's exclusive theater presentation at gamescom 2025 will feature a look inside the Tomb of the Matriarch facility. There will also be playable demos for upcoming and current third-party Xbox games including Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade, Final Fantasy XVI, Borderlands 4, and Onimusha: Way of the Sword when it comes to games within our scope.

You can find the full list of games playable at the Xbox booth here. There will be a special broadcast on August 21 at 6 AM PT featuring The Outer Wrolds 2 and more titles. Xbox itself will be at Hall 7 of the Koelnmesse, North entrance from August 21 until August 24.

The Outer Worlds 2 launches on October 29 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam, Microsoft Store, and Battle.net).
