Lies of P will be on PlayStation Plus for PS5 and PS4 on August 5

Sony just announced the PlayStation Plus monthly games for August 2025 and publisher Neowiz and developer Round8 Studio's Lies of P is one of the three games available to all subscribers.

Lies of P's PlayStation Plus addition arrives soon after the Lies of P: Overture DLC release. Lies of P will be available for both PS4 and PS5 as a monthly title for all PlayStation Plus subcription tiers. Note that only the base game is being included as a monthly game on PlayStation Plus. The DLC is sold separately.

Lies of P is now available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC (Steam). Read our review of the base game here and the Overture DLC here.

This macabre Soulslike draws its inspiration from an unlikely source: The Adventures of Pinocchio. In this grim reimagining of Carlo Collodi’s treasured tale, Pinocchio is trying to find the mysterious Mr. Geppetto. His journey takes him to Krat, a Belle Époque-inspired city whose humanity has been lost to madness and killer puppets. Pinocchio must battle for survival using a range of weapons and swappable Legion Arms with special abilities. He will also encounter non-hostile characters, but you will have to help him lie to fulfil his dream of becoming human.
