Final Fantasy XIV Moonfire Faire 2025 launches August 13 with new clothing for all

The yearly summer event for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is set to kick off on August 13, 2025. Called the Moonfire Faire, the event will run for two weeks, concluding on August 26, 2025.

As with previous Moonfire Faire events, the 2025 Moonfire Faire will reward participating players with free goodies. This year, the prize is the Maritime Set, a full watersport-themed beachwear ensemble consisting of a top and bottom crafted to look like a wetsuit and windbreaker combo, combined with beach sandals and mirrored shades. As with other Glamour-focused equipment pieces, all the items are level 1 and aren't viable for use in fighting, as they're meant to be placed in a player's Glamour Chest and used as pieces for customized outfits.

The event is open to all players level 30 and above, and the initiating quest can be found in the starting city-state of Limsa Lominsa.

Players that missed out on the rewards from previous Moonfire Faire events can opt to pick up the glamour gear via the Mog Station premium store. 2023's Super Sentai/Power Rangers-style Phoenix Riser suit and 2024's Summer Sunset outfits are among the items on sale.

Final Fantasy XIV is available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The game has also just received a major update in the form of Final Fantasy XIV: Dawntrail Patch 7.3, adding a new Alliance Raid, dungeon, trial, and other updates.
