Following its reveal during the gamescom 2025 Opening Night Live event, Marvelous USA and Marvelous Europe today announced the release of a free demo for their upcoming dark sci-fi action game, Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion, which is scheduled to launch for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Windows PC via Steam on Sept. 5, 2025. Available to download now on all storefronts, the free demo allows players to experience the first nine chapters of the story and explore the open world, experiencing the high-speed combat and customizable Arsenal that can be tailored to suit their preferred combat style. The demo includes online co-op with up to three players and supports cross-play, ensuring it’s easy to connect and play with friends on any platform. Asynchronous play is also featured, allowing players to experience the intense mech action at their own pace, while still benefiting from more passive online connectivity. Additionally, save data can be carried over to the full game release on the same platform when Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion releases on Sept. 5. A separate, shorter demo is also playable at gamescom taking place Aug. 20-24 at Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany, at the Marvelous Europe A051 booth in Hall 7.

The publisher also released the latest trailer following its debut on Opening Night Live packed with gigantic enemies, spectacular action, and a tantalizing glimpse into the thought-provoking narrative that awaits players. Who is the Alpha, and why are the Neun so determined to find them?
