Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault comes to early access on October 23

Publisher 11 Bit Studios and developer Digital Sun have released a new trailer for Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault and announced that it will arrive in Steam Early Access and Xbox Game Preview as part of PC Game Pass on October 23.

The new trailer was showcased during gamesom 2025 Opening Night Live revealing the early access launch plans. Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault is in development for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam). You can check out Adam's hands-on impressions from the Summer Game Fest demo.

During Opening Night Live at this year’s gamescom—on a stage bold enough to match Will’s business-savvy, adventurer’s spirit—11 bit studios and Digital Sun Games together revealed Moonlighter 2: The Endless Vault will begin its journey in Early Access, and will be coming to Steam on October 23rd.

"Never a dull moment," Will might say, now stranded in the mysterious village of Tresna and searching for a way home through an interdimensional mess - a quest demanding plenty of dodge rolling, fighting, looting, and clever shopkeeping along the way.

Much like Will’s long road back, crafting Moonlighter 2 into its final form takes time. The game is nearly complete, but a few parts of the adventure still need polishing. That’s why we’re inviting players to get an early taste of the journey through Early Access.

From day one, you’ll be able to dive into three biomes, each with unique enemies, and return with over  120 relics to sell in your shop. Set prices, serve customers, customize your space, and experience most of the story - all built around an updated combat system featuring four main weapons, nearly 100 shop and dungeon perks, and a smoother, improved feel.
