Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave launches worldwide for Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026
The very last reveal of the September 2025 Nintendo Direct was a brand-new Fire Emblem strategy RPG that will be titled Fire Emblem: Fortune's Weave. This new game will appear worldwide on Nintendo Switch 2 in 2026.
The closing section of the reveal trailer also shows what looks to be a grown-up version of Sothis from Fire Emblem: Three Houses. This could imply that Fortune's Weave might take place in the same universe as the 2019 entry.
As a side note, this game will be known in Japan as Fire Emblem: Banshi Senkou. The kanji letters that form the title (万紫千紅) are slightly modified from 千紫万紅 (Senshi Bankou), a Japanese idiom that describes a scenery of many flowers blooming in various colors.
