Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment releases simultaneously worldwide on November 6
The September 2025 Nintendo Direct has confirmed the full release date for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment. The new action game will be available simultaneously worldwide for Nintendo Switch 2 this year on November 6.
The new trailer also shows more of the game's content, including the Korok confirmed as one of the playable characters. In addition, the trailer shows that this game will have split-screen co-op and GameShare features.
However, we also noticed in this 60 fps trailer that while the single-player mode does seem to support 60 fps, the 2-player split-screen co-op mode looks set to reduce the frame rate to 30 fps.
Nintendo has also uploaded standalone trailers for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment on their Japanese and American channels, and you can find both of them right below, alongside screenshots, artwork, the box art, and details from Nintendo:

Fight alongside a friend in split-screen co-op, or use GameShare to play together on two separate systems if one player has the game. Uncover the canonical events only glimpsed in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom game when Hyrule Warriors: Age of Imprisonment launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on Nov. 6.
