Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 gets new trailers showcasing the Ventrue and Tremere Clans

Publisher Paradox Interactive and developer The Chinese Room have showcased two new trailers for Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 ahead of its launch on October 21 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam, Epic, GOG).

The trailers showcase the Ventrue and Tremere Clans going over the clan affinities, disciplines, and more. These trailers follow the game finally getting a release date. If you've not kept up with it, following several delays and organizational changes, the game was rebooted and re-announced in 2023, now developed by The Chinese Room. The new version of the long-in-development sequel has seen several Developer Diary updates this year, showcasing components such as combat, social systems, mortals, and Hunters. Today we bring you a new glimpse into the Clan of Warlocks. Meet the Tremere characters of Seattle and see Phyre's magic in action.

Tremere starts with "Dominate" and "Blood Sorcery" as clan affinities, and "Corrosive Touch" as the passive ability. Then as the game progresses you'll be able to unlock the following Tremere disciplines:

• "Blood Curse": Curses the opponent to swell up and explode after recieving damage.
• "Cauldron of Blood": Boil a person's blood. Their screams will draw others close.
• "Recall": Mark your current position. Use again to return to that position.
• "Blood Salvo": Conjure a set of blood daggers that can be thrown at enemies.
• "Blood of Potency" - Clan Perk: A chance when feeding that the last used ability receives twice as much blood, increasing the rate at which you can perform abilities.

Today we bring you a new glimpse into the Clan of Kings, the Ventrue clan! Meet the Ventrue characters of Seattle and see Phyre's powers in action. 

Ventrue starts with "Dominate" and "Presence" as clan affinities, and "Flesh of Marble" as the passive ability. Then as the game progresses you'll be able to unlock the following Ventrue disciplines: 

• "Terminal Decree": Command a mortal to kill themselves. 
• "Possession": See through enemy's eyes and control them for a period.
• "Cloud Memory": Cause a target to forget you were there.
• "Mass Manipulation": Apply Ventrue and Affect abilities to all enemies within view. 
• "Resilience" - Clan Perk: Increases the amount of health restored by feeding.
