Star Trek Online Unleashed update launches on September 23, 2025

Long-running MMORPG Star Trek: Online will receive its next major free update, titled "Unleashed," on September 23, 2025 for PC. The game's console editions will receive the update on November 11, 2025. The previous major update, Star Trek Online: Unveiled, launched in February and March 2025.

Unleashed will continue on the ongoing main story of Star Trek Online via a new campaign episode, titled "Best Laid Plans." In it, players will team up with Hugh, leader of the Borg Cooperative, and Seven of Nine as they undertake an operation to capture a leader of the Aetherians, a powerful multiversal faction. Both Hugh and Seven are voiced by their respective Star Trek series actors Jonathan del Arco and Jeri Ryan.

In addition to the new story episode, the game will also receive a new cooperative Task Force Operation actvity, "Shattered Peace." In it, teams of players will tackle waves of enemies in space combat as foes lay siege to Khitomer HQ.

Star Trek Online is available on PC, as well as on PS4 and Xbox One. The Unleashed update launches on September 23, 2025 on PC and November 11, 2025 on console.
