
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade showcases Streamlined Progression and more in new screenshots for Switch 2 and Xbox
Ahead of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade launching on January 22, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S, Square Enix has released new screenshots and detailed the Streamlined Progression feature.
If you missed it from last week, Square Enix is adding a new Streamlined Progression feature to the Xbox and Nintendo Switch 2 versions of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade to let players who want to focus on the story use specific enhancement options. These let players have:
- HP/MP always maxed out
- Damage dealt to enemies is always 9999
- Possess the maximum number of each item at all times (with some exceptions)
The settings can be customized and each option can be enabled or disabled at any time through the in-game Options menu.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is now available on PlayStation 5 and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). It launches on January 22, 2026, for Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S (Play Anywhere).
