Nioh 3 TGS 2025 second stream shows hidden hints in one of the demo stages
Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja published more gameplay footage of Nioh 3 at the company's own Tokyo Game Show 2025 live stream. In the second stream, the team focused on Takeda Shingen's stage, which is also available to access in the physical demo build at Makuhari Messe.
Although the developer staff could not actually beat the Yokai-turned Shingen in this stream, he did provide several hints to help future players tackle this stage. For instance, he showed a Nurikabe wall yokai blocking a hidden zone nearby the boss door. Getting through this yokai will reveal a room with a bath and a treasure chest containing more powerful gear.
In addition, the development team also shared more tips related to the action gameplay. Players should make good use of each style's traits. The Samurai style can perfectly parry attacks and launch powerful skill attacks, while the Ninja style lets them evade an attack without consuming Ki if pressed at the right timing besides using relentless Ninjutsus. While the team also recommends finding a weapon that best suits the player, the demo will set Twin Swords for Samurai style and Tonfas for Ninja style by default.
The stream in question is available right below, and the specific segment is available from the 3:45:16 mark.
As a side note, there will be another gameplay-focused stream for Nioh 3 that will run on the PlayStation Japan channel tomorrow Saturday on September 27 at 14:20 JST (05:20 UTC). The full game will be available worldwide on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam on February 6, 2026.
