
Elden Ring Tarnished Edition has been delayed to 2026 to allow for performance adjustments
Bandai Namco Entertainment has delayed Elden Ring Tarnished Edition from this year to 2026 to allow for performance adjustments.
The announcement was posted on the official social account for Elden Ring. You can find the delay announcement below:
While development on #ELDENRING Tarnished Edition continues wholeheartedly toward release, we have decided to move the launch to 2026 to allow time for performance adjustments.

Nintendo originally showcased Elden Ring Tarnished Edition for Nintendo Switch 2 as the first third-party game in the Nintendo Switch 2 Direct. As revealed before, this edition includes the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, as well as new armor and customization options for Torrent. These new options will also be added to existing versions of the game.
Elden Ring is now available on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC (Steam). It launches on Switch 2 next year as Elden Ring Tarnished Edition.
