Luminous Tales' roguelike action RPG Food Wagon is available for PC via Steam Early Access

Luminous Tales has released an Early Access version of their upcoming roguelike action RPG Food Wagon. The South Korean indie studio expects the Early Access run to last for around 6 months. A free demo version of the game has also been available on PC via Steam.

This Early Access release already comes with the full story for the game. The player will assume the role of Lanya, who originally ran a family restaurant but suddenly got transported to another world where cooking activities have been sealed by its gods. As the only person who can cook in this world, Lanya will run the eponymous Food Wagon and gather ingredients by exploring areas around the world while fighting hostile monsters.

In this Early Access version,
you will be able to experience Lanya’s full story—
a girl who has fallen into another world where cooking and taste have been taken away.
We have worked hard to bring you a joyful experience across the journey—
from wagon-based support mechanics,
to strategic snack crafting,
to cooking gameplay enjoyed through running your own small stand.
But even now, we still need your help.

This Early Access version includes far more than the demo:

  • 9 Weapons (3 types per weapon category)

  • 18 Craftable Weapons (6 per weapon category)

  • Around 90 Gift abilities/content

  • Around 100 Enchant attributes

Each combination and choice can dramatically change
your combat flow and play rhythm.
