Code Vein II Prologue Trailer and MagMell Base screenshots published

Bandai Namco has published a new information batch for Code Vein II. The company notably published new screenshots that show the MagMell Base along with its facilities and key characters. Also published simultaneously is a Prologue Trailer showcasing the events leading to the sequel's storyline.

This batch includes the reveals of 2 new key characters: Iris MagMell (voiced in Japanese by Ai Kakuma) and Jadwiga (voiced in Japanese by Sayaka Oohara). Jadwiga will particularly handle most of the base's business by running a smithy and item shops, and she also has many retainers who help sell the items both inside and outside the base. Meanwhile, Iris is focusing on the research & development of equipment that will help expand a Revenant's abilities.

Other than Jadwiga's shops, the MagMell base will have a training area where the player can test out specific character build sets. And just like in the prequel, the base on Code Vein II also has a mixed Hot Spring area. The dressing room here will also let the player customize their character's appearance, including changing the body type.

You can find the most recent trailer and screenshots right below. Code Vein II will be available worldwide for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam on January 30, 2026, with Japan getting the console releases a day earlier on January 29.
