Turn-based RPG People of Note introduces Cadence in a new music video during the Day of the Devs showcase

During the Day of the Devs showcase that just aired, Annapurna Interactive showcased a new trailer for Iridium Studios' turn-based RPG People of Note.

People of Note's new trailer features a music video introducing Cadence, the pop-star heroine. The song features Heather Gonzalez alongside the pop-star vocals of LEXXE. If you haven't already done so, read James' preview of it here.

People of Note launches next year for PlayStation 5Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store).

Today we premiered our first music video trailer at Day of the Devs, which introduces Cadence, our pop-star heroine. Check it out if you haven’t already!

Cadence is played by two actors: the grounded yet incredible Heather Gonzalez, alongside the pop-star vocals of LEXXE! Both turn in absolutely stellar performances to help bring our heroine to life. This is just the start, so look forward to the full cast announcement early next year!

Today, during the Day of the Devs stream, Annapurna Interactive showcased a new trailer for People of Note, a turn-based RPG musical from Iridium Studios. This trailer showcases one of the full musical numbers from the game, “Under The Lights”, sung by the character Cadence. Cadence is played by two actors: the grounded yet incredible Heather Gonzalez, alongside the pop-star vocals of LEXXE. Both turn in absolutely stellar performances to help bring the heroine to life, as you can see in the trailer.

Not only is People of Note’s dramatic, world-spanning story portrayed through choreographed cinematic musical sequences; the battle system and game mechanics are also based on  intricate, interactive sequences of musical skills and abilities. 

Developed by Iridium Studios, People of Note will release digital only for PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5 and Xbox (X|S, Windows) in 2026.
