New trailer for Exodus depicts the Rise of Jun Aslan
Publisher Wizards of the Coast and developer Archetype Entertainment released a new trailer for action RPG Exodus at the The Game Awards 2025. The new trailer introduces viewers to the game's protagonist, Jun Aslan, as well as offering looks at combat gameplay and other characters, including Jun's guide, C.C. Orlev.
The trailer depicts Jun as a salvager thrust into prominence as the last heir of the Traveler dynasty, and the last hope against a relentless enemy called the Celestials. The trailer also includes gameplay footage, showing shooter gameplay using sci-fi weapons and exotic powers, and lines from actor Matthew McConaughey, who plays the character C.C. Orlev in-game.
Exodus is set for release on PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, PS5, and Xbox Series X|S sometime in 2027. Check out the full press release and screenshots from the TGA trailer below, as well as the "Traveler's Creed" gameplay trailer from 2024.

Players will shape Jun’s destiny through moral choices and conflicting agendas that echo across generations. Fans will determine who Jun ultimately becomes through their actions and choices, all while the fate of their home planet, and beyond, lies in the balance. Exodus offers freedom in gameplay style, allowing players to approach challenges through stealth or open combat. Both paths are designed to be equally rewarding, empowering players to tailor their experience. As the story unfolds, fans will unlock new weapons and abilities, form bonds with companions, and discover combat synergies that deepen both the gameplay and the storytelling.
Jun will not face this journey alone. Throughout Exodus, players will meet companions with unique motivations and secrets. These relationships are integral to the experience, bringing new lore, side stories, and quests that enrich the vast narrative universe. The trailer also features another look at C.C. Orlev, an enigmatic figure whose presence seems to guide Jun at crucial moments. Though everyone has heard of Orlev, few know who he truly is—or what became of him.
