Square Enix has released the Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade Xbox and Nintendo Switch 2 demos on both storefronts today.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade demo save data can be carried over to the full Switch 2 and Xbox games at launch as well. If save data for the demo is detected you can claim bonus items in the full game. The Xbox demo is playable on console, PC, and handheld via Play Anywhere. You can download the demo here on Switch 2 (available via console now, but should be on the web soon) and here on Xbox. The demo download size is 7.9GB on Nintendo Switch 2.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade launches on January 22, 2026 for Xbox and Nintendo Switch 2. It is now available on PlayStation 5 and PC.

You can find the new demo trailer with more details from Square Enix below:

This is a demo of Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade.

In this demo, players can enjoy the entire first chapter - the mako reactor bombing mission. It is possible to carry over save data from this demo to the main game.

In addition, if save data has been created for the demo, the bonus items “Revival Earrings” and “Survival Set” can be claimed in the full game.

*It is not possible to carry over save data from the demo if save data has already been created for the full game, but the Revival Earrings and Survival Set can still be obtained in the main game via other means.

*The Revival Earrings and Survival Set can be claimed by selecting the “Gift Box” option accessible via the main menu in the full game.

*It is not possible to unlock achievements in the demo itself, but the achievement “Onetime Gig” will be unlocked in the main game if save data where the whole of the demo content has been completed is carried over.
