Greedfall: The Dying World PlayStation 5 version releases in Japan on March 19

3goo has revealed how they will release the Japanese localization of GreedFall: The Dying World. The company will release the Japanese localized version for PlayStation 5 in both physical and digital formats on March 19.

The game has been available on PC via Steam Early Access since September 2024. But while it has received several major updates—including one released last March, it has also undergone several major changes since then.

The game had been originally known as GreedFall II: The Dying World, but Nacon and Spiders have announced that they will drop the "II" from the title as this game's story features a prequel to the first GreedFall game. In addition, Nacon actually removed Japanese (as well as Korean) language support from the ongoing Early Access release, although they also promised that both languages will eventually return to the PC release later on.

3goo has also uploaded a Japanese pre-order trailer for GreedFall: The Dying World, which you can also find right below. Other than PC and PlayStation 5, the game is also slated to come to Xbox Series X|S.
