Exist Archive will be delisted from PS4 and Vita storefronts in Japan next January
Spike Chunsoft has announced that they will soon delist Exist Archive: The Other Side of the Sky from the Japanese storefronts right around the 2026 New Year. The PlayStation 4 build will disappear first on January 1 right at 00:00 JST (UTC+9), and the PlayStation Vita version will follow on January 5 at the same midnight hour. The company also confirmed that physical releases of the game will also be no longer produced.
The game that originally came out in Japan in December 2015 is not currently known to appear on other platforms. So depending on the availability on other regions, Exist Archive might cease to exist formally for the foreseeable future—although those who have purchased the digital copy and any additional DLC on the PS4 and/or PS Vita can still re-download them anytime.
Aksys Games released the English localization of Exist Archive for North America and Europe in October 2016. As of this writing, the PS4 release is still widely available on the North American PlayStation Store. It is currently unknown whether the game's delisting in Japan will also affect the availability of the English localization in the West or not.
