Nioh 3 free public demo version is now available on PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam

Koei Tecmo and Team Ninja have today released a public demo version of Nioh 3 for both PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. Everyone can now access the beginning parts of the game from the avatar character creation to the first few bosses.

There is also a limited-time campaign for this demo. Those who have successfully cleared the whole demo segment by February 15 will be able to get a Twin-Snake Helmet in the full game. The demo's save data can be transferred to the full game as-is.

As a reminder, the full version of Nioh 3 will be available publicly for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam next week on February 6.

The Nioh 3 demo is available as of today, January 29, 2026.

This demo allows players to experience the opening stages of the game from the very beginning. Online multiplayer for up to three players is supported, and save data can be carried over to the full game.

Players who complete the demo will receive the unique in-game bonus item the Twin-Snake Helmet for use in the full game. To receive this completion bonus, the demo must be completed by February 15, 2026.

Be sure to take this opportunity to play the demo!
