Publisher Tripwire Presents and developer Arctic Hazard have released a new gameplay trailer for Norse: Oath of Blood, showcasing both settlement building and tactical combat gameplay.

Additionally, the game's pre-order bonus and Special Edition have also been detailed. Those who pre-order the game will receive Brokkr’s Bearded Axe, while the $44.99 Special Edition includes a Kievan War armor set and a unique Ulfberht sword. The standard version will be priced at $34.99.

Norse: Oath of Blood is set to release on February 17 for PC (Steam), followed by console releases for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S later in the year.
Tripwire Presents, the publishing division of Tripwire Interactive, and developer Arctic Hazard today revealed a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming Viking-era turn-based tactical game set in Dark Age Norway, Norse: Oath of Blood. The latest trailer introduces some of the craftspeople Gunnar will need to recruit to ensure a thriving settlement, as well as the different Viking warriors he can lead in his warband. These include stalwart drengrs who stand fast amid the chaos of battle, shielding their allies and breaking enemy advances, the deadly bogmathrs who compensate for their lack of armor by unleashing deadly volleys from afar, and berserkrs who live up to their fearsome name as they rampage through battle.
The publisher also announced the start of digital pre-purchase on Windows PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Good Old Games ahead of release on Feb. 17. The standard edition is available for $34.99 and a Special Edition, including the in-game Kievan War armor set and unique Ulfberht sword, available for $44.99. All PC pre-purchases will be discounted by 15% until launch, and will also include Brokkr’s Bearded Axe, a powerful weapon capable of smiting enemies and turning the tide of battle.
