LoadComplete and CQ Labs have released Crusaders Quest: Hero Town for PC via Steam. This is an idle RPG that takes up a portion of your desktop screen, where you can do things like place buildings and harvest fruits, while characters will automatically visit the city and defend it from monster attacks.
This game is notably based on the Crusaders Quest game that appeared for mobile devices. While the latter is still spottable on Google Play Store and Apple App Store, its updates appear to have concluded in 2023.
