DragonSword: Awakening is coming to PC via Steam this July
Hound13 has opened a Steam page for DragonSword: Awakening. This action RPG is slated to be available this July, and the company is also planning to release a playable demo a month earlier during the June 2026 Steam Next Fest.
This game is also going to be notably based on the original DragonSword that launched as a live-service game in South Korea earlier this January. However, Hooon from Hound13 has clarified that Awakening will be a single-purchase game without any monthly subscription pass, although the manager also teased that the company will sell DLCs in the form of character costumes and familiar mounts.

The game will be available in not only Korean but also English, Japanese, and Chinese (Traditional & Simplified). But even though Hound13 has denied the usage of generative AI for any in-game content, the South Korean company does admit to using AI for translating the game and its announcements.
