Brigandine Abyss demo is now available on PC Steam, Limited Edition pre-orders now live on PS5 and Switch 2
Happinet and NIS America have announced that a free demo is now available for Brigandine Abyss on PC (Steam).
This demo lets players access two out of the six main story factions in the upcoming full release—Gran Dragnica and Scarlet Will—up to the 2nd season of each respective faction. However, the Japanese press release confirms an additional fine print that there will be no save data transfer from this demo to the upcoming full release. A Limited Edition is also available to pre-order from the NIS America store for $89.99. It includes the game (PS5 disc or Switch 2 Game Key Card), Art from the Abyss Artbook, Anthems of War Original Soundtrack, Storied Figures Acrylic Stands, Faction Symbol Pin Set, and a Cloth Map of Meltitea.
Brigandine Abyss launches on August 26 for PC (Steam) and August 27 for PS5, Xbox Series, and Nintendo Switch 2.

Play the first two seasons of the Gran Dragnica and Scarlet Will story campaigns today! Follow Largo as he tries to find out what is turning the dragons into pawns of evil, or stand with Garnet as her company refuses to back down against the Abyssloa Empire. Recruit monsters send troops on quests, and plan your attack during the Organization Phase before experiencing Brigandine Abyss’ hexagonal grid-based strategy battles during the Invasion Phase. (Save data cannot be transferred from the demo to the full version.)
Brigandine Abyss is a brand-new entry in the storied franchise, featuring a completely unique world that even unfamiliar players can dive right into. Hundreds of years ago, the Abyssloa Empire was stopped by the power of the arcane Brigandine. Now, a new Abyssloa Empire rises from the ashes, ready to conquer the world. Confront the dark as you manage resources, rally your monsters, and stand against the empire in one of six different story campaigns.
For a new take on the Brigandine experience, turn to Mission Mode, which lets you take the role of one of 24 different factions, each with their own win conditions! Whether you want to challenge your tactical acumen or take it easy, you'll find hundreds of hours of fun in Brigandine Abyss!
Whether you choose to play through the story or Mission Mode, gameplay will take place over three phases. Organize your troops and resources during the Organization Phase; issue orders to attack enemy strongholds in the Attack Phase; and then take to the field during the Invasion Phase! Brigandine Abyss maintains the series’ unique hexagonal-grid-based strategy gameplay and gives players plenty to think about. You’ll need to consider your skills, elemental attributes, and the development of your armies if you hope to find success on the battlefield!
