DragonSword: Awakening demo will be available for PC via Steam on June 4-23
Hound13 has announced that they will release a public demo build of DragonSword: Awakening for PC via Steam. This demo will be available temporarily from June 4 to 23 in the West, or from June 5 to 24 in Asia-Pacific.
This demo will have around 1-2 hours of playable content. Players will be able to check out the first chapter out of the 8-chapter main story and play as 9 out of the 19 playable characters.
The studio also assures that the demo is also playable on Steam Deck, although it is still not formally verified yet. However, they also noted that there will be no save data transfer from this demo to the upcoming full release.

The DragonSword: Awakening demo will be available with full Korean language support including voiceovers, and subtitle support in English, Japanese, and Chinese (Traditional & Simplified). The full release is also slated to support additional subtitles in French, German, Spanish, Russian, Brazilian Portuguese, and Thai.

This demo is being released in coordination with the press preview schedule for the upcoming Steam Next Fest, and is made available to all of you at the same time. It's your chance to explore the Orbis Continent ahead of Next Fest's official opening.

⚠️ The demo will be deactivated when Steam Next Fest ends. Be sure to play it within this window.
- Launch: June 5, 02:00 (KST) / June 4, 10:00 AM (PT)
- End: June 24, 02:00 (KST) / June 23, 10:00 AM (PT)
- Availability: Limited window of approximately 19 days

- Main Story: Chapter 1 of 8 playable
- Playable Heroes: 9 out of 19 from the full game
- World Exploration: Selected areas of the Orbis Continent open
- Estimated Playtime: approximately 1–2 hours

The demo runs on Steam Deck, but is not Steam Deck Verified. A fully smooth play experience may not be guaranteed.
