Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty: Complete Edition launches September 3 for Nintendo Switch 2
Following the Nintendo Direct, Koei Tecmo announced that Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is coming to Nintendo Switch 2 as Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition on September 3.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty debuted in March 2023 on PlayStation consoles, Xbox platforms, and Steam, originally on Xbox Game Pass day one. Koei Tecmo just announced a sequel in Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember at the Xbox Games Showcase 2026.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition for Nintendo Switch 2 will also have an exclusive set of equipment, Xuanwu Armor, for all Nintendo Switch 2 owners of the game. The Xuanwu Armor equipment set will be available from 18:00 PT on September 2 until 7:59 PT on September 30. The Xuanwu Armor equipment set will be available via Deliveries in the Battle Flag menu after the player has applied the patch released alongside the Nintendo Switch 2 version of the Complete Edition.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is now available on Switch 2, PS5, PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series, Xbox on PC, and Steam. It launches on September 3 for Nintendo Switch 2.

Today, Koei Tecmo America and developer Team Ninja announced announced that their dark Three Kingdoms action RPG Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition will be released for Nintendo Switch 2 on Sept. 3, 2026. The base game and all three major DLC will be included.
First released in 2023, the critically acclaimed Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty has surpassed over 5 million players to date and sold over 1 million copies worldwide. The game follows the dramatic, action-packed story of a nameless militia soldier fighting for survival in a dark fantasy version of the Later Han Dynasty where demons plague the Three Kingdoms. Players fight off deadly creatures and enemy soldiers using swordplay based on the Chinese martial arts, attempting to overcome the odds by awakening the true power from within.
Released in 2024, its expansive Complete Edition includes the base game alongside the three major DLC - Battle of Zhongyuan, Conqueror of Jiangdong, and Upheaval in Jingxiang - as well as new endgame content, The Thousand-Mile Journey. Players can enjoy these additional scenarios with characters from the armies of Cao Cao, Sun Ce, and Liu Bei, as well as extra weapon types (cestuses, long swords, and whips). The action-packed gameplay is further enhanced by new difficulties, new stages, new Divine Beasts and more challenging difficulty levels, as well as expanded functions. Fans will also have access to a range of collaborative DLC, adding equipment and stages from Nioh 2, Naraka: Bladepoint, and Lies of P.
Furthermore, three in-game items that were included with the initial release of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty—Baihu Armor, Zhuque Armor, and Qinglong Armor—will be included in the Nintendo Switch™ 2 version of the Complete Edition, alongside The Records of the Grand Historian, an in-game item that shows the location of Marking Flags on the mini-map.
In celebration of the upcoming release of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition for Nintendo Switch 2, an exclusive set of equipment, Xuanwu Armor, will be available to all Nintendo Switch 2 owners of the game.
Earlier in the week, fans were treated with the announcement of Wo Long 2: Wings of Ember, scheduled for release in early 2027. This sequel to Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty will further refine and enhance the fast-paced, tactical combat of the first game with the inclusion of defensive Chinese martial arts, such as the ability to deflect incoming attacks. The Morale feature also makes a return, giving players the opportunity to conquer the battlefield.Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition is scheduled to release Sept. 3, 2026 on Nintendo Switch 2.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty Complete Edition is already available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Xbox on PC, and Steam. The game features Japanese and English voices with texts in English, French, German, Italian and Spanish.
