Koei Tecmo reveals gameplay showcase and trailer for Attack on Titan 3
Following its announcement last month at the Summer Game Fest stage presentation, Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have revealed gameplay for Attack on Titan 3 with both a 45-minute presentation and a new trailer.
The gameplay presentation highlights the game's titan combat, mission-based squad gameplay, and interactions with Attack on Titan characters. The game also boasts 'brand-new story content'.
The game will also feature an animated opening produced by studio Mappa, who worked on the last season of the anime series. However, the opening will not be in the game at launch and instead will be added as a future update.
Attack on Titan 3 is set to release "this Winter" for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC (Steam).

Attack on Titan 3 is the riveting culmination of the action game series, depicting the story of Attack on Titan from its survey corp beginnings to its dramatic conclusion.
The opening animation for the game* will be produced by MAPPA, the animation studio that worked on Attack on Titan: The Final Season, with action scene animator, storyboard artist, and key animator Arifumi Imai returning as director. Stay tuned for more information and future reveals!
The opening animation will not be implemented at the time of release, but will be added to the game in a future update.
