Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen will not feature the expansion on disc according to a retail listing

Dragon's Dogma 2: Dark Arisen launches October 9 for Nintendo Switch 2, PS5, Xbox, and Steam and retail pre-order listings have gone live for PS5 and Xbox.

The Best Buy page mentions "Dragons Dogma 2 - Gameplay on Disc and Dark Arisen - Gameplay code on DLC." Thanks to Wario64 for the heads up on the pre-order listing. This listing implies only the base game is on disc. It would follow Capcom's prior re-releases with DLC including Resident Evil 4 Gold Edition. Other retailers are yet to mention anything about the disc or code. The Switch 2 listing is not up yet in North Ameirca, but since you cannot buy the base game without the expansion, it will likely feature both licenses on the Game-Key Card. Note that listings are only up in Asia, Europe, and Japan for the Switch 2 version.
