Bandai Namco showcases one save file 'Death Mode' for Echoes of Aincrad

Bandai Namco has released a new trailer for Echoes of Aincrad, highlighting the game's 'Death Mode' while showcasing both combat gameplay and dialogue.

Full details of Death Mode were revealed alongside the game's announcement earlier this year. Death Mode is included as an 'Early Unlock' if you purchase the Deluxe or Ultimate Editions of the game (detailed here), otherwise, it is unlocked after clearing the main story once. It works like an 'ironman' mode seen in various other games, where the player is not allowed to lose all their health; otherwise, their save file is wiped entirely, and they'll have to start over.
