Wizardry Variants Daphne and Final Fantasy XI crossover collaboration will launch in both games

Drecom has announced that they are working with Square Enix to hold a crossover collaboration between Wizardry Variants Daphne and Final Fantasy XI. This collaboration will work both ways, so both online games are set to get crossover content based on the other title.

Wizardry Variants Daphne will have its side of the crossover launch first on July 30. A crossover event that ties the worlds of both games will run for a limited time until September 10.

Meanwhile, Square Enix will also have a crossover giveaway in Final Fantasy XI sometime this August. All players who log into FFXI during the period will be able to receive a mask inspired by the Masked Adventurer from Wizardry Variants Daphne.

Both Drecom and Square Enix will publish more concrete details about the respective crossovers in Wizardry Variants Daphne and Final Fantasy XI at a later time.
