Sega will feature Stranger Than Heaven at Tokyo Game Show 2026 (Update)
Sega has announced that they will feature Stranger Than Heaven at Tokyo Game Show 2026. The company has still yet to publish details about the overall Sega-Atlus booth as of this announcement, but this pretty much confirms that Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio's upcoming major entry will be their main highlight there.
A good portion of the Sega-Atlus booth at TGS 2026 will be dedicated to Stranger Than Heaven. It will have multiple playable demo builds that offer a sneak peek of the combat system, and it has also received further updates compared to the ones shown in prior media events. The same booth will also have a Walkthrough Museum zone that lets visitors check out the five cities and eras in this game.
Sega will also have a Theater zone where visitors can listen to brand-new songs never announced before, although most of the show will require prior reservations. The Sega-Atlus stage and stream will also feature presentation shows related to Stranger Than Heaven on all five days from September 17 to 21.
Update (August 17): Pre-registration for the Stranger Than Heaven Theater zone is now available here. We have translated the announcement tweet below:

And last but not least, Sega will also bring several Stranger Than Heaven-themed merchandise to TGS 2026. A few of them will be available via giveaways from booth activities: The uchiwa fan from walking around the game's zone, the neck strap from playing the demo or watching the theater show, and the analog stick covers for showing proof that you have pre-ordered the game. There will also be more items sold at Sega's merchandise booth in TGS 2026.
Sega will release Stranger Than Heaven for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC on January 15 next year.
