Story of Seasons 30th and Rune Factory 20th anniversary stream launches on August 24

Marvelous has announced that they will hold a live stream to celebrate both the 30th anniversary of Story of Seasons (Bokujo Monogatari) and the 20th anniversary of Rune Factory. This stream will go live on YouTube on Monday, August 24, at 20:00 JST (11:00 UTC).

Some of the highlights in this stream will include the announcement of results for the character polls that were held earlier this year, as well as the winning entries of the Memories Contest. The stream will also have a segment that looks back at the history of titles released for both series (including the Bokujo Monogatari titles that were localized as Harvest Moon).

But while the Japanese description also includes a teaser for "newest information", there is still no explicit confirmation of brand-new game announcements yet. As such, it is still yet to be known whether Marvelous will really reveal a new Story of Seasons entry or Rune Factory 6, the latter of which was revealed to be in the works since 2023 together with Project Dragon, which eventually became Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma and came out in 2025.
