During a Q&A from developer Hound13, it was confirmed that DragonSword: Awakening console ports will begin with PS5. An Xbox version is lower priority and will not happen in the short term.

As for Nintendo Switch 2, it is TBD, but interest has been registered as per developer Hound13. The Q&A also covers Steam Deck optimization, touchscreen support, and more. DragonSword: Awakening was originally going to be a free-to-play release, but it changed to a buy once and play open world action adventure RPG. DragonSword: Awakening is out now on PC (Steam).

A. Platform ports start with PS5, which has more users. Xbox is lower priority and won't happen in the short term.
