Less than a month following the launch of dark fantasy ARPG The Relic: First Guardian on PlayStation 5 and PC, Project Cloud Games and Perp Games have announced its upcoming release date on Xbox Series and Xbox Anywhere as September 25th. The launch for Nintendo Switch 2 will fall on October 9th, with the digital title costing $34.99* across all new platforms.

A special reward
Existing full-price owners across PC and PS5 can look forward to receiving an exclusive Sealing Stone before the upcoming price drop on August 26th, which they retain permanently regardless of DLC ownership. Only distributed through to August 26th, this stone unlocks a unique dungeon featuring a dedicated storyline, boss fight, and special loot. This limited item will not be distributed again after, serving as a permanent thank-you to early, full price supporters.
Specific information on this exclusive reward and how it can be acquired will be revealed in due course.
A commitment to ongoing support
Ahead of the expanded release, and building on a series of post-launch patches, the game is set to receive a major update as part of the studio's ongoing commitment to support and refine the title. Project Cloud Games has actively incorporated community feedback since release. Rewards from common enemies have changed from gold to much-needed Relic power, which aids skill progression. Plus, new map icons have been added to increase visibility on dungeon locations, making it easier to track down up to 80 unrelenting bosses (Brutals).
Continuing to deliver on their promise, there has been updates to stability, NPC behaviour, balancing, rewards, events, combat, progression, localisation, and general quality of life improvements since its launch on July 31st. This sustained developer support is already yielding results, with player ratings and reviews revising upward across platforms.
With many exciting, community-driven updates and launches on the way from Project Cloud, The Relic: First Guardian remains stoic on its ambitious journey.
